My name is Hayley AKA Hatch!
For years I experimented with many different mediums until eventually I found my style that for me delivers the simplicity, but dramatic effect, of black and white imagery. Not using colour evokes a sense of vulnerability due to the exposed nature and the need to create life within an image with the use of just the line.
I’ve been illustrating alongside a different career for over 20 years and hope to one day spend hours and hours each day focussing solely on my art. Illustration inspires me, creating gateways into different worlds, and giving an outlet for my imagination to be free!
