My name is Joel Kelly, an artist based in Texas and New York City. My work explores abstraction, embracing the balance of simplicity and complexity inherent in life.
I am deeply committed to the language of expression, using art as a powerful medium for healing and illuminating the world giving credit back to the source, that is light, I create because I was created.
The Art: “Spontaneity” This piece was born from a spontaneous spirit. I created the images by following the emotions and impulses that arose in the moment, allowing spontaneous ideas to guide me. The images seemed to form and unfold on their own, I simply guided the process.
