Leanne Herrod is a UK-based visual artist celebrated for her intricate, abstract drawings crafted with ballpoint pen and digital pen. A self-taught creator with a BA (Hons) in Graphic Information Design, she channels her expertise into evocative compositions that balance spontaneity with structure.
Leanne’s portfolio showcased on platforms like Saatchi Art features a cohesive suite of six original pieces: “Mezzanine,” “Playground,” “Passion,” “Buddha’s Temple,” “Vault,” and “Towers.” Each explores architectural forms and emotional space through minimalist monochrome and subtle linework.
Originally from the UK, Leanne lives with her family and maintains a home studio where she refines her signature technique. Often detailin black and white abstractions, she frequently transforms everyday visuals into rhythmic patterns on canvas.
Leanne has displayed her Art in Solo exhibition in Whitstable and a collaboration of Art and Fashion in Rochester, where her abstract patterns defied conventional symmetry and introduced fresh visual narratives. She continues to explore the dialogue between manual mark-making and digital refinement, pushing the boundaries of contemporary drawing.
